QuantScope is operated by Tucker Simpson, a sole proprietor based in Tampa, Florida, United States. This policy describes information handled through our website and portfolio analytics service. Contact quantscope.io@gmail.com with privacy questions or requests.
Information we handle
Account and security. Your email, display name, optional profile image, settings, password verification data, verification requests, and authentication information. Multifactor authentication and trusted devices require additional security records.
Brokerage data. Authorized connections provide account identifiers, balances, positions, securities, transactions, and historical portfolio values where available. Direct API connections require the API credentials you supply. SnapTrade connections use stored connection identifiers and authorization secrets.
Subscriptions. Stripe handles payment details entered in its checkout. QuantScope stores billing identifiers and subscription status used to manage account access.
Technical and support information. Website requests involve information such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, and time. Infrastructure providers may keep operational logs. If you contact support, we receive your message and attachments.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, retrieve authorized brokerage data, calculate and display analytics, manage subscriptions, send account emails, respond to requests, investigate errors, and prevent misuse.
Providers and disclosures
Our hosting providers operate the service. SnapTrade and connected brokerage APIs provide authorized account data. Resend delivers account emails. Stripe processes subscription billing. Each receives information needed for its relevant function and handles it under applicable terms and privacy policies.
Market data services receive requests for security symbols used in analytics. External company and brokerage image providers receive technical information associated with image requests. Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law or valid legal process, or to investigate misuse and protect the service and its users.
We do not sell personal information or use outside advertising or analytics trackers. We do not share customer information outside the service providers and disclosures described above.
Cookies and browser storage
Cookies support sign in and trusted devices. Browser storage holds application state and preferences, including some account display information. Clearing storage can sign you out or reset preferences. Use a private device when viewing sensitive account information.
Storage, security, and deletion
Account information is stored on our server infrastructure. Password verification data is hashed and stored brokerage secrets are encrypted. These protections reduce risk but cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed without authorization.
We keep account information to provide the service while your account is active. Account deletion removes the local account and stored direct brokerage credentials, deletes the linked Stripe customer, and requests deletion of the linked SnapTrade user. SnapTrade queues accepted deletions for processing. If provider cleanup cannot be confirmed, QuantScope retains the account so the request can be retried.
Deleting QuantScope does not close your brokerage accounts or revoke API keys directly issued by a brokerage. Provider records, operational logs, and backups may be subject to separate retention processes and may not disappear immediately. Contact us with questions about retained information.
Your choices and requests
Manage connections and security settings in QuantScope. You can also revoke access through the relevant brokerage where available. Disconnecting access and deleting previously collected information are separate actions.
For access, correction, export, or deletion requests, email quantscope.io@gmail.com from your account email. We may verify your identity before acting. Applicable rights and exceptions depend on your location and the law.
Intended users and updates
QuantScope is intended for adults as described in its Terms and Conditions. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied personal information. We may update this policy as the service changes; the current version appears here and material changes will be communicated through the service or another appropriate channel.
